ABOUT THE IEEE COMPUTER SOCIETY VOLUNTEERING AND SCHOLARSHIPS/AWARDS


Connecting members worldwide, the IEEE Computer Society is the leading source of information, inspiration and collaboration in computer science and engineering today. Using reliable resources like international conferences, peer-reviewed publications, robust digital libraries and opportunities for continuous learning, Computer Society promotes people empowerment and technological advances. In addition, undergraduets and graduets students are encourage and support for participe scholarships and awards in three categories: Richard E. Merwin Scholarships, the Lance Stafford Larson Award for best student paper, and the Upsilon Pi Epsilon Honor Society awards. In this way the Computer Society provides several tools for academic improvement for the different profiles and stages of professional careers.
